Wm. Andrew Turman, aka Zen Daddy T, taught special education for 10 years before getting the chance to realize his dream of being a full-time artist and writer.  He credits his success to the support of his father and love of his 18 year old son that has autism.  He is self-taught, and for the most of his career, has given his art away, claiming it is the process, not the product, that is important.

He has manic-depression, and has found art therapy to be extremely useful, along with Buddha and benzodiazipines!  He lives near Washington, DC, aiding his elderly parents.
