As a 28 year-old photojournalist, Kimberly Burnham appreciated beauty. \u00a0Then an ophthalmologist diagnosed her with a genetic condition, “Consider life if you become blind.” \u00a0From those devastating words, she forged a healing path with insight and vision. Today, a brain health expert, Kimberly helps people experience richer, more nourishing environments.<\/p>\n

“People, who feel better, make better choices for themselves, their community and our world.”<\/p>\n

Her PhD in Integrative Medicine and extensive training in Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Acupressure, Integrative Manual Therapy, Health Coaching, and Matrix Energetics enable her to serve as a catalyst, gently shifting your ability to feel better physically, think more clearly, and be more creative.<\/p>\n

A 2014-2015 Poetry Posse member, Kimberly and Creating Calm Network’s Ann White, \u00a0assist small enterprises in crafting business booming words and robust social media platforms. \u00a0Kimberly won SageUSA’s 2013 story contest with a poem from The Journey Home, chronicling her 3,000 mile Hazon Cross-USA bicycle trip. \u00a0 Her poetry books include, Live Like Someone Left The Gate Open and the upcoming Healing Words\u2014Poetry for Thriving Brains. \u00a0 With Elizabeth Goldstein she edited the anthology, Music\u2014Carrier of Intention in 49 Jewish Prayers.<\/p>\n

What does she need us for?
\na question as we drive
\ncool fall blowing through a crack
\nat the top of the window<\/p>\n

For company,
\noffers her twin brother
\nour mom needs us
\nfor company
\nhas become a cute story
\nnow I am embedded
