Before you open and read one of the poems from Carolyn Srygley-Moore\u2019s book, miracles of the BloG: A series<\/strong> <\/em>(something I have learned to do every morning when I awake @ 4 AM\u00a0to read one of Carolyn\u2019s poems posted on Facebook), I suggest the following \u2026.. \u00a0 \u00a0read the poem all the way through to the end, don\u2019t stop along the way to ponder. \u00a0 After you’ve read the poem, tip your head back in the chair and let the word imagery flow through your body from head to toe before thinking about the experience of it all. \u00a0 The experience is like the scene in the movie Men in Black when the alien first enters the farmer\u2019s body, you spasm until accepting to surrender. \u00a0 This technique will lessen the degree your brain will hemorrhage, and it will hemorrhage but in a good way. \u00a0 Why? \u00a0 \u2018Cause you’ve just experienced the twists and turns, the miracle<\/strong>, the word imagery of one of the greatest poetic thinkers in present time. \u00a0 The artistry of Carolyn\u2019s words is so unique, I beg you to find someone to compare her to \u2026.. \u00a0 \u00a0peace out and love Carolyn Srygley-Moore !<\/p>\n

Miracles of trembling<\/p>\n

There is a whoosh when the umbilical is cut
\nAn anti-noise \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 whoosh as of a ghost loosed.
\nSo I have been informed
\n*
\nby men in surgical masks with surgeon\u2019s hands
\nhands that are not allowed to tremble.
\nI blame neither moon or sun but
\n*
\ndew on the grass in wind trembling.
\nWhat do we do but follow
\nnature\u2019s intuitions? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Whoosh \u00a0 \u00a0 another cord
\n*
\nis cut. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Another ghost of the past released.
\nIn the fog that swallows the grasses
\nthere is truth. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0There is truth.
\n*
\nI choose not to watch the news today.
\nI will ride the tortoise back into the sun
\nsquinting against the dark \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0my hands, trembling.<\/p>\n
